The new 3-button GlassMaster LT Controller, developed especially for the HotStart™ Kiln, is fully pre-programmed to successfully fire and anneal glass projects up to 1/2-inch (9 mm) in finished thickness.
The size of the project determines which of three firing options the user selects: Fast, Medium or Slow. Next, the user identifies the Process: Slump, Tack-Fuse or Full Fuse. The user may then define the Process time and temperature (ex: 1500° for 10 minutes) or choose to fire with those variables as they come pre-programmed into the unit (optimized for System 96 products).
The user also has the ability to ADD TIME and/or ADD TEMPERATURE in 5-minute increments, in order to adjust firing in- process, and to SKIP STEP in order to jump from Process to Annealing at will.
The GlassMaster LT controller achieves fully automatic firing, and provides simple manual overrides for crafters who wish to exercise more precise control over forming.
